City of Derry Young Farmers Club Fundraiser
Congratulations to the City of Derry Young Farmers Club who raised £52,442.66 for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance.
We were delighted to help the City of Derry Young Farmers Club with their 60th Anniversary celebrations and to help raise vital funds for such a worthwhile charity. The Air Ambulance is often called upon to help those in the rural/remote locations in their time of need and it is a charity close to the heart of many at the City of Derry Young Farmers Club. The club purchased a 60 year old Fendt tractor, which they worked continuously for 24 hours at a plough-athon, before holding a virtual auction for the tractor, and many other items. We donated a transport box for the auction, specially painted Fendt green to complement the tractor, which helped raise the incredible total of £52,442.66!
