Yard Dispatch Co-ordinator/ Relief HGV1 Driver.

An Excellent Opportunity for a Yard Dispatch Co-ordinator/ Relief HGV1 Driver to join our growing team at Fleming Agri-Products. A dual role, predominately yard based with some relief driving requirements within the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities include:  

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.  
• Securing and strapping loads to satisfy regulations and internal quality control policies.  

• Picking and packing customer orders for delivery in an effective and timely manner.  
• Managing stock within the yard.  
• Corresponding with the Despatch Manager to ensure all loads are correctly loaded and the relevant paperwork is available.  
• Assist in providing an efficient delivery services across the UK and ROI regions as required.  
• Assist in the provision of excellent customer service.  

• To deliver and collect products as required by the company using a polite and efficient manner at all times, ensuring that product appearance is maintained and that our customers are satisfied with their orders at all times. 
• Maximise load efficiency to ensure trailer space is utilised to its full capacity.  
• Managing documentation for all loads ensuring all paperwork is completed at the time of delivery/collection.  
• Comply with Health and Safety Legislation and Company Health and Safety Policies at all times.  
• Ensure the vehicle is road worthy and carry out and record daily vehicle checks.  

• Maintain and clean work area.  

Essential requirements:  

• HGV 1 license (zero endorsements preferred). 
• Previous yard operative experience (Preferred).  
• Forklift license (Preferred but not essential) 
• Up to date Digi-Tachograph. 

• CPC qualified and up to date preferred.  
• Knowledge of UK and ROI roads and routes.  
• Experience and excellent knowledge of driver health and safety legislation preferred. 
• A minimum 1 years driving experience Preferred.
